Leader of Opposition and Cuncolim MLA Yuri Alemao announced that an indoor stadium cum swimming pool will be set up in Cuncolim. and 35 crores rupees will be granted for this
Speaking at the final of an inter-village football tournament recently, Alemao stated that Rs 35 crores has been granted to set up the infrastructure to boost the sporting spirit among the youth which will facilitate different sporting disciplines.
"I hope that this indoor stadium serves as an example in the future for other areas within the municipal council area. This purpose will demonstrate how a community can transform and create opportunities to lead the youth in the right direction," said the Cuncolim MLA.
