Ishita, Aayushi, Gianna, Aarna in U15 Girls semis

Ishaan Colaso and Ashank Dalvi stormed into the finals of the U11 Boys category at the 37th V.M. Salgaocar All Goa Major Ranking Table Tennis Tournament, being held at the Multipurpose Stadium, Fatorda.
The tournament is being organised by Cortalim Gymkhana under the aegis of the Goa Table Tennis Association.
Top-seeded Ishaan displayed flawless form, brushing aside Cladwyn Miranda 3-0 in the quarterfinals and then cruising past Vardhan Verlekar with another straight-set 3-0 win in the semifinals.
Ashank Dalvi, who had earlier beaten Vivaan Sasmal 3-0, got past Kedar Nair 3-1 in the other semifinal to book his place in the title clash.
In the U15 Girls category, all four semifinal spots were decided after a series of confident displays.
Ishita Colaso looked sharp as she dispatched Tisha Shaikh 3-0, while Aayushi Amonkar maintained her dominance with a 3-0 win over Sachi Dessai.
Gianna George continued her fine run by defeating Kavyaa Khalap 3-0, and Aarna Lotlikar held her nerve to edge past Ira Nadkarni in a tense 3-2 encounter.
