Goa’s karate team secured three medals -- two silver and one bronze -- at the 64th National School Games organised by the School Games Federation of India (SGFI) in Indore, Madhya
Pradesh recently.
Rajveer S Caculo won a silver in under-17 boys -66kg category, while Ved S Vadolkar also clinched second place in under-17 boys -35kg category. Manya N Rao won a bronze in under-14 girls -42 category. The event saw participation from 26 teams with 829 karatekas from all
over India.
The Goan squad in under-14 and under-17 categories comprised of 31 entries, while six officials accompanied
the team.
