Vijay Kumar Kopre Dessai has been appointed as the new general secretary of Cuncolim Union, following the resignation of Prahalad Dessai from the position.
The decision was made unanimously during a meeting of the executive committee members. In his new role, Kopre Dessai informed that Cuncolim Union successfully organised the Interward Veterans Football Tournament, the Inter-Village Football Tournament, and the Inter-School Football Tournament.
Looking ahead, Dessai expressed his determination to strengthen the team for the upcoming First Division League, emphasising the importance of building a solid squad for the competition. "The next challenge is to build a strong team for the First Division League," said Dessai.
