Kuldeep Yadav of Macho Boys scored a hat-trick as they beat Young Champs 3-0 in a Vodafone GFDC Rising Star football Festival match at Marcel Centre, Monday. Throughout the match Macho Boys showed aggressive play by clearing off every defensive move put up by Young Champs. Kuldeep, a student of Government High School Bhoma-Ponda, proved his worth with a strong performance. Just before the end of the first half, Kuldeep had given his side a 1-0 lead. Young Champs missed many opportunities.
In the second half, Kuldeep scored two more goals and was named the player of the match. Another match between Soccer Champs and Young Champs at Marcel centre remained draw. Both the teams scored two goal each. In first half Soccer Champs were leading 2-0. Dheeraj Bhati and Rajan Mohate scored for Soccer Champs in the first half, but in second half Young Champs regrouped to equalize. Manjit Naik and Krunal Malvankar scored for Young Champs. Dheeraj Bhati was adjudged player of the match.
