BeatSt Teresa High School 5-0 to qualify for the national finals of Young Heroes tournament

Loyola High School, Margao was crowned champions in the Goa-leg of the Young Heroes tournament when they defeated St Teresa High School 5-0 and qualified for the national finals.
In order to identify young talent the country’s largest student direct contact programme from the very grassroots through scouting programme, Young Heroes complete their campaign in Goa where Aman Govekar (Don Bosco Panaji), Oscar D’Souza (OLPS, Cortalim), Akshat Adkonkar (Don Bosco Panaji) and Warren Pereire (Loyola HS) were selected by Brahmanand Sankhwalkar, former Indian captain and Arjuna award winner at the Agassaim Youth Club football ground during the last two days.
