Salgaocar FC head coach Malcolm Thomson credited team effort for scoring a commanding 3-0 win over Curtorim Gymkhana in their Pro League match on Wednesday.
“This is our third game of the season and I think the squad is in good shape," said Malcolm during a post-match chat.
"There was a lot of talking and coordination among the boys today and it is a very good sign. I was happy to witness such camaraderie in the team," the coach added.
Speaking about the way his team defended, he said: "Our defence was good and we will definitely put up a tough fight. There is a long way to go in the league and for now its a good start."
