The MCL 11 T20 cricket tournament witnessed two exciting contests at the MCC Ground, Margao, where MCC Royals and MCC Knights emerged victorious in their respective matches.
In the first match MCC Royals defeated MCC Warriors by 46 runs. MCC Royals put up a strong batting performance, posting 178 for 7 in 20 overs.
In reply, MCC Warriors were bundled out for 132 in 19.5 overs, falling short by 46 runs. Chirag Naik delivered a brilliant spell to earn the Man of the Match award.
In the afternoon encounter, MCC Knights beat MCC Masters by 2 wickets. MCC Masters, batting first, posted 180 for 7 in 20 overs.
MCC Knights chased the target successfully, scoring 184 for 8 in 19.3 overs to seal a thrilling 2-wicket victory. A fine all-round show from Siddharth Ghanekar earned him the Man of the Match award.
