Mondo FC defeated Cana Dynamites 3-0 to move into the quarterfinals of the all Benaulim football trophy organised by Young Challengers Benaulim played at Ampian Ground Benaulim. Jason opened the scoring for Mondo in the 10th minute beating rival goalkeeper Manoj. The winners led 1-0 at the break.
Cana tried to equalise post resumption but were unable to get past the defence led by Cavin. Jason and Prakash scored again in the 35th and 40th minutes to make the final score 3-0 for Mondo. Jaison Cardozo was adjudged the Man of the Match.
