Mondo FC defeated Cana Dynamites 3-0 to move into the quarterfinals of the all Benaulim football trophy organised by Young Challengers Benaulim played at Ampian Ground Benaulim. Jason opened the scoring for Mondo in the 10th minute beating rival goalkeeper Manoj. The winners led 1-0 at the break.

Cana tried to equalise post resumption but were unable to get past the defence led by Cavin. Jason and Prakash scored again in the 35th and 40th minutes to make the final score 3-0 for Mondo. Jaison Cardozo was adjudged the Man of the Match.

MARGAOSharp Shooter beat Guddi Boys 3-1 and romp into the quarterfinals of the 19th Villa Marex Chandor Seamen Football Tournament organised by Villa Marex Chandor at Villa Marex Ground, Chandor on Wednesday. Sharp Shooter dominated the game with Sunny spearheading the attack who broke the deadlock. Later Sharp Shooter scored through Shelton in the 29th minute. In the second half Sunny scored his second while Vinod pulled a goal back for Guddi Boys in the 40th minute.
