Govt. High School, Morle-Sattari won the State Level Championship in volleyball U-17 boys tournament organized by Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs held at Mason-de-Amore grounds Panaji.
In the finals, the Morle team defeated New Education Institute, Curchorem 25-16, 25-18, 31-29 (3-0). Captain Devendra Gawas was the main attacking line and scored maximum points for the Morle team. Vidyanand Gawas played as a libro a very important role in the defense and all other players combined very well and won the exciting final match. The Morle team got the guidance of PE teacher Devraj K Tari.
