Our Lady of the Rosary Higher Secondary School, Dona Paula, emerged champions in the Zone Under-19 Girls' Badminton Tournament organised by the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, Government of Goa. Our Lady of the Rosary defeated K B Hedgewar Higher Secondary School in the final to clinch the title. The winning team comprised Keya Borvankar, Jadzia Fernandes, Priyanka Karkal and Pragathi Bhosle, who impressed with consistent performances throughout the tournament.
Principal Sr Manisha Parmar congratulated the players on their achievement and praised their dedication and hard work. Physical Education Teacher Chandrakant Raikar guided the players during the competition. The victory earned Our Lady of the Rosary Higher Secondary School the zonal title and secured the team a place in the forthcoming state-level competition.
