Pope John XXIII win U-14 chess title

Pope John XXIII High School, Quepem won the Quepem Taluka U-14 boys chess championship with 7 points. The New Educational Institute, Curchorem won the 2nd place with 6 points.

Sarvodaya Education Society's High School, Curchorem won the 3rd place, also with 6 points. The tournament was organised by Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs at sports complex, Borimoll, Quepem. The winning team is seen with their physical education teacher, taluka sports organiser, APEO and a chess official.

The winning team will represent Quepem taluka at District level championship to be played at PJN stadium, Fatorda.
