Saligao Sporting and St Anthony’s Sports Club Marna played out a 1-1 draw, while Portais SC thrashed Merces Club 7-0 in the GFA Second Division League.At Agassaim ground, Portais SC crushed Merces Club 7-0. Remedios Vaz opened the scoring for Portais SC in the 19th minute while Vinod Achari wasted no time as they soon doubled the lead in the 24th minute.Post resumption, Portais SC started from where they had left and took advantage of the feeble Merces defence as Arun Paryekar netted the third goal for his side in the 55th minute. Dion Fernandes netted yet another goal for Portais SC in the 64th minute before Remedios Vaz netted another goal in the 66th minute. Deepak Chatri drove the final nail into the coffin in the 72nd minute.Over at Duler, Saligao and St Anthony’s teams started the match on equal footing. In the 41st minute, St Anthony’s SC’s Pushparaj Mandrekar scored.However, Diptesh Naik equalised for Saligao Sporting.
