MARGAO:The Goa Public Works Department's-Sports & Recreation Club’s 6th State Level PWD Badminton and Table Tennis Tournaments in association with the Sports Authority of Goa (SAG) for the PWD Employees of various PWD Sub Divisions/Work Divisions/ Circle Offices & Allied Staff will be held on February 13 and 14, at the Indoor Multipurpose Hall of the SAG near the swimming pool at Fatorda, Margao.
The tournament is open for staff working in PWD Only. Both badminton & table tennis will have men & ladies “ singles & doubles plus mixed doubles events in 5 categories namely, General, +40, +45, +50 & +55 age category. Age proof is a must and needs to be submitted to the organising committee in advance. Participation entry is restricted to any one age category only. The tournament will be opened on Saturday at 9am by the Principal Chief Engineer of PWD, Dattaprasad Borker, in the distinguished presence of the Director of Sports, V M Prabhudessai and SAG stadium manager Deepak Lotlikar.
