Ruhaan Shaikh and Vedant Wagle advanced to the finals of the Under-13 Boys category, while in the Under-15 Boys section, top seed Chandan Caro will meet second seed Dhruva Kamat in the title clash at the YMCA Major Ranking Table Tennis Tournament being held at the Indoor Stadium, Campal. The week-long event has been organised by YMCA Panjim in aegis with Goa TT Association.
In the U13 Boys semifinals, Ruhaan Shaikh overcame Ishaan Colaso 3-1, while Vedant Wagle registered an identical 3-1 win against Yuvaan Sanke, setting up a highly anticipated final. The U15 Boys event saw Chandan Caro outplaying Ishaan Colaso 3-0 in the quarters before defeating Ruhaan Shaikh 3-0 in the semis, while Dhruva Kamat cruised past Yug Prabhu 3-0 in the quarters and then downed Vedant Wagle 3-1 in the semifinals to set up a blockbuster summit clash against Chandan.
In the U11 Girls category, top seed Anaya Shukla stormed into the final with a commanding 3-0 win over Claire George, while second seed Shaurya Dessai booked her spot with a hard-fought 3-1 victory over Tvisha Kotkar. Earlier, in the quarterfinals, Anaya had defeated Tasha Mascarenhas 3-0, Claire edged past Sanaz Shaikh 3-2, Tvisha survived a thriller against Aarna Walwalkar 3-2, and Shaurya downed Nishka Nayak 3-0.
