MARGAO
Salgaocar Football Club launched the 12th edition of its Community Outreach Programme at Chicalim Panchayat Ground on Sunday, with over 520 children from Vasco da Gama participating in the initiative.
Swati Salgaocar, Director of Vimson Group of Companies, inaugurated the programme, which aims to promote football, fitness and well-being among children.
Former Goa, DSY and SAG coach M.M. Muttawalli was also present at the inauguration.
The event was attended by Francisco Nunes, executive member of the Goa Football Association (GFA), Sanjiv Nagvenkar, head of operations at Salgaocar FC, and Amit Gaude, general secretary of the club.
The programme was coordinated by Umer Muttawalli, supported by a team of 40 coaches and 30 volunteers.
