Child artiste Haswaine Fernandes, a student of standard 8,studying in Don Bosco’s High School in Panjim was the toast of the evening whenhe won the hearts of the audience with his enchanting voice and style in theChildren’s Tiatr ‘Tacho Patlaudar’at the recent TAG children's tiatr festival.
Haswaine is not new to the Konkani stage and he shows allsigns of maturity and confidence. His perfect sense of timing and modulation isamazing. Speaking to The Goan, Haswaine said “I love to sing in tiatrs and myparents and elders support me all along. My grandfather Salvador Fernandes aliasJolly Boy, of Karambolim, who is a lyricist, composes the songs that I sing onstage.”
Haswaine has performed on the professional stage too and hehas performed for the entire all Goa round of Comedian Agostinho’s tiatr‘Godfather’. Young Haswaine is brimming with confidence and one can see thefire in his eyes to attain success with his God given talent for singing.Dimple cheeked Haswaine has it in him to go places provided he continues hislove for the Konkani stage with his passion for singing.
