Sagar Sawant scored 107 runs in 64 balls while Chandrakant Ghadi scored 63 as Shirgao SC scored 218 runs for the loss of two wickets in 20 overs.
In reply, Shirgao SC restricted Mayem Union to 148/8, with Rajesh Vaigankar, Shiva Gaonkar and Sahdev Khandolkar picking two wickets each to guide Shirgao SC to victory. Mayur Ghadi (56), Jayesh Vhodankar (19) and Omkar Gauns (13) were the top scorers for Mayem Union.
In another match, KCC Morjim defeated Siddhant Sports Club by seven wickets. Electing to bat first, Siddhant Sports Club lost wickets at regular intervals and were bundled out for 102 in 18 overs. Laxman Raut (24) was the top run getter for Siddhant SC, while Sushant Raut (21) managed to score 21. For the bowling side, Siddesh Harmalkar (4/24) impressed with the ball for the winners
In reply, a blistering knock of 41 by Anish Shetgaonkar off 37 deliveries helped his side to reach the target in just 13.5 overs. Anish hit seven boundaries. Shamsha Dabholkar was the other run-getter, scoring 38 off just 31 balls. His innings included three boundaries and two hits over the ropes.
Shamba was awarded Man-of-the-Match for his all-round performance which also saw him pick two wickets.
