Shivajians appoint strength and conditioning Coach

I-League football club DSK Shivajians has roped-in John Andrews as the strength and conditioning coach for the first team, to work with team manager Dave Rogers.

Andrews is a UEFA 'A' License Coach, who has expertise in strength and conditioning, a media release from the Pune-based club said today.

Andrews, 37, was a professional footballer before he retired and ventured into coaching. Later, he diverted his focus on to strength and conditioning of players.

His football career spanned over 16 years, during which he played for the likes of Grantham Town, Mansfield Town and Coventry City.

He also played for Cork City in Ireland back in 2002. He ended his football career in the first division of Iceland with Afturelding, the release added.
