Shree Ganesh Boys emerged champions of the first edition of Nachinola Premier League cricket tournament, getting the better of Jagbai Xl at Nachinola. The tournament was organised by ‘Rising Nachinola’.
Jagbai Xl won the toss and chose to bowl first. Shree Ganesh scored 53/4 in 5 overs setting a target of 54 runs for Jagbai Xl to chase. Shree Ganesh Boys restricted Jagbai Xl to 46 runs.
Captain of Shree Ganesh, Amar Gadekar was named man-of-the match and best batsman. The best bowler of the tournament prize was bagged by Anil Dhargalkar while, Vishal Mayekar was adjudged the player of the tournament. Shree Ganesh took home a trophy and cash prize of Rs 15,000 while the runners-up were awarded Rs 10,000 along with a trophy.
