Siolim Sodiem & Cultural Association registered a come-from-behind 2-1 win against Valpoi Football Club in the GFA Second Division League (Bardez) at Duler Stadium, on Tuesday.
In the first half, Valpoi FC, who were the more attacking of the two sides, missed out on three open chances which made them pay the price consequentially. After a barren first half, the Valpoi outfit finally got their opening goal in the 51st minute to forge ahead with a Mudassir Shah strike.
Saish Goltekar restored parity for Siolim Sodiem in the 70th minute. Santosh Jotkar broke the deadlock in added time as his shot found the back of the nets, handing Siolim Sodiem the nerve-wracking win.
