94 schools secure 100 per cent results

With the State registering record pass percentage of 91.57 per cent at the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Examination, 174 schools have secured a pass percentage of 95 per cent and more.

Interestingly, 94 schools have secured 100 per cent results of which 20 are government-run high schools.

According to the officials of Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE), this high pass percentage at SSC could be attributed to various factors like National Skill Qualification Framework which has been introduced only in government high schools and sports merit marks, among others.
