MARGAO: The Youth of St. Anne’s Church, Ponda, Goa, is organising the “Franciscan Greens Inter-Parish Youth Football Tournament” to commemorate the 8th Centenary Year of the Transitus of St. Francis of Assisi. The 5-a-side boys’ football tournament, will be held on Monday, 14 September, from 9:30 a.m. onwards at the St. Anne’s Church Ground, Ponda.
The winning team will receive ₹20,000 along with a trophy, while the runners-up will receive ₹12,000 and a trophy. Individual awards will also be presented for Best Goalkeeper, Best Defender and Best Striker, with a cash prizes.
