St Anthony's Sports Club dominated the game but it was Adarsh Yuvak Sangh who sounded an early warning when Michael Dias's free kick was saved by the rival goalkeeper. St Anthony's broke the deadlock in the 12th minute when Sahil Pomburpekar connected in style off a Joel Fernandes through pass, giving no chance to the rival goalkeeper.Down by 0-1, Adarsh Yuvak Sangh came close in levelling the score but rival goalkeeper foiled their attempts. Later in the first half, Pushparaj saw his shot saved and Joel Fernandes' long range shot sailed over the bar. At the end of first half, St Anthony doubled their lead through Gaurav, who scored off an assist by Saiesh. Post resumption, St Anthony Marna continued to dictate terms and inflated their tally through the boots of Videsh Goltekar. They made it 4-0 when Joel Fernandes dribbled past a host of defenders to punt the ball to the far corner of the net.
