St Anthony's High School Duler, St Ann's High School, Thivim, Holy Cross High School, Bastora, St. Francis Xavier High School, Siolim, St Joseph High School, Calangute and St Joseph High School, Arpora moved into the quarter-finals of the Bardez Taluka under-14 boys football tournament played at Assonora Sports Complex organised by Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs on Tuesday.

In the first match, St Anthony's High School, Duler defeated Shri Ganesh High School, Mapusa 4-0 with Shawiz Pathan Khan and Sanket Patil scored a brace each. In the next match, St Ann's High School, Thivim defeated St Theresa High School, Candolim 2-1. While Samyak Salkar scored the brace for the winning side, Brain Fernandes scored one goal for the Candolim School. In the next match, Holy Cross HS, Bastora defeated St Thomas Boys High School, Aldona 2-0 with Vishal Butte netting a brace.the third encounter, witnessed St Francis Xavier High School, Siolim downing Lourdes Convent High School, Saligao 3-1. Hrishikesh Shirodkar scored a brace while Nilesh Kammar scored a goal for the winning Siolim school while Ritesh Parsekar managed to reduce the margin by scoring a goal for Lourdes Convent the Saligao-based school. In the next match, St Joseph High School, Calangute convincingly won against Seminary of our Lady, Saligao 4-1 with Alpesh Wagheri bulging the nets twice with team-mates, Sanket Karapurkar and Raul Khakha scoring a goal each for the eventual victors.
USA came from behind to beat Davorlim 5-3 via tiebreaker to storm into the semi-final of the 15th All Goa Seamen football organised by Villa Marex Boys, Chandor at Villa Marex ground, Chandor on Tuesday. The teams were locked in a 1-1 draw at normal period.
