The Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs (DSYA), Government of Goa, has released the fixtures for the State Level Jawaharlal Nehru Hockey Tournament 2026-27 (Under-15 Boys Category), which will be played at the Hockey Turf, Peddem, Mapusa.
The prestigious school-level championship will bring together some of Goa's leading hockey-playing schools as they compete for state honours and an opportunity to showcase emerging talent on the state's premier hockey facility.
The tournament, scheduled from 24 to 29 September 2026, is expected to provide a competitive platform for young hockey players and continue the tradition of promoting grassroots hockey development in Goa. Organised under the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, the championship has long served as a stepping stone for school players aspiring to represent Goa at higher levels of competition.
The opening round of matches will begin on 24 September, with Immaculate Heart of Mary High School, Goa Velha taking on Perpetual Succour Convent High School, Navelim at 9:15 a.m., followed by Holy Cross High School, Bastora facing Loyola High School, Margao at 10:30 a.m. Action will continue on 25 September, when Fr. Agnel High School, Pilar will meet the winner of the preliminary contest between Damodar High School, Gudi and St. Jude High School, Betalbatim at 9:15 a.m.
Later in the morning, the winner of the Goa Velha-Navelim encounter will play Janata High School, Mapusa at 10:30 a.m. In the afternoon session, The Rosary High School, Cujira will take on Honda High School, Honda at 2:30 p.m., while the winner of the Bastora-Margao match will meet St. Anthony's High School, Guirim at 3:45 p.m.
The winners from these matches will advance to the semi-finals scheduled for 28 September, with the championship final set for 29 September at 9:15 a.m. The third-place playoff will be held later the same day at 10:30 a.m.
Teams have been instructed to report at the venue at least thirty minutes before the commencement of their respective matches and to be dressed in proper playing kits as per tournament regulations.
