The tournament will be held from August 18 to 20, at Swami Vivekanand Hall, Alto Porvorim. Players should report at the venue at 11 am. The first round will commence on August 18 at 1.30 pm.
First two winners in each category will be selected to represent Goa at National U-11 Open and Girls Championship to be held at Maharashtra in November. Players, residents of Goa and born on or after January 1, 2006, are eligible to participate in the tournament.
The top 10 winners will be awarded cash prizes of Rs 2,000, Rs 1,500, Rs1,000, Rs 750 and Rs 500 along with trophies in both the categories will be awarded. Entry fees of Rs 250 will be charged, along with copy of birth certificate.
