Churchill Brothers Sports Club defeated Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda 2-1 in the GFA under 14 league at SAG Artifical Turf Grounds, Fatorda on Thursday.The teams were tied 1-1 at the break. The highlight of the day was a brilliant brace by Amol Harrijan.
Both the teams displayed attacking brand of soccer. However, it was Churchill Brothers who brokethrough in the 4th minute through the boots of Amol Harrijan. Stunned by the lead, Don Bosco Oratory went into attacking mode and in the 16th minute Mayfan Mascarenhas cancelled the lead.
Crossing over, the trend continued in same vein with both the teams' forwards showing urgency and in the 51st minute Amol Harrijan struck the match winner.
