Bogda Youth Cricket Academy and Oxford Cricket Academy registered convincing victories in the ongoing 1st All Goa U-14 Exposure Cricket Tournament, held at the Konkan Railway Cricket Ground, Margao.
In the morning match, Bogda Youth defeated My Cricket Academy by 8 wickets. Batting first, My Cricket Academy posted 142/3 in 20 overs, powered by a solid unbeaten 60 from Arjun Patil, with contributions from Vansh Kudtarkar (22) and Shaurya Chodankar (14). For Bogda, Mohammed Abbas, Farhan Shaikh, and Samrat Naik picked up a wicket each.
In response, Bogda chased down the target in 18.5 overs, with a match-winning 78 by Farhan Shaikh, supported by Anay Lakhani (25) and Mohammed Abbas (23 not out). Sahil Gaonkar and Svanik Lotliker took a wicket each for My Cricket Academy.
In the afternoon match, Oxford Cricket Academy outclassed SNCA by 59 runs. After electing to bat, Oxford posted 120/4 in 15 overs, with key knocks from Bodhan Dessai (26 not out) and Vardaan Behl (22). Achintya Garg impressed with the ball for SNCA, taking 3/13.
In reply, SNCA managed only 61/7 in their 15 overs, with Sadanand Lamani (23) fighting a lone battle. Bodhan Dessai and Mubarak Tadapatri were instrumental with the ball, claiming two wickets each to seal the win for Oxford.
