The teams were tied 1-1 at half time.
Both the teams adopted aggressive approach and had equal number of scoring chances in the initial period. United Club of Benaulim's Wellington Rodrigues slotted past the rival goalkeeper with a snap shot in the very 7th minute.
However, their joy was short lived and three minutes later, United Boys of Dando-Colva neutralized the lead when Baptist Pinto bulged the net.
Stunned by the equalizer, United Club of Benaulim went into attacking mode but their forwards muffed gilt-edged scoring chances.
Post resumption, United Club of Benaulim were a dominant lot with their forwards and midfielders working in tandem to put the rival defence into disarray. Velesly Afonso regained the lead in the 56th minute.
At the other end, United Boys of Dando- Colva were struggling to take a firm grasp on the game. In the 53rd minute, Stanley Fernandes added his name on the scorers' list to give Benaulim a 3-1 cushion. After taking a 3-1 lead, United Club of Benaulim's Rizwan Ratos put the issue beyond doubt in the 75th minute while Metron Rodrigues made it 5-1.
Rizwan Ratos who had a good game drove the final nail into rival's coffin at the stroke of final whistle to register his brace.

At Panchayat grounds, Raia, Raitura Sports Club blanked Our Lady of Gloria SC 4-1. Raitura led 1-0 at the breather.
Raitura started the game on a positive note and forged ahead in the 44th minute when Dorris Colaco punished the rival goalkeeper with a neat finish. Earlier, Raitura had a couple of scoring chances but their forwards misfired from close range.
After resumption, Raitura continued in the same vein with their forwards launching a flurry of attacks. However, it was Our Lady of Gloria who neutralised the lead through the boots of Schubert Dias in the 48th minute.
Stunned by the equalizer, Raitura went into attacking mode and Elder Souza regained the lead in the 54th minute. Abby Fernandes inflated the tally for Raitura in the 55th minute. Down by 1-3, Our Lady of Gloria intensified their attacks and Jesmon
reduced the deficit. Alloy Colaco fired the final salvo in the 85th minute for the winners.
