Rising Club held the upper hand in both the sessions and troubled the rival defence with well orchestrated raids. Persistent forays paid the dividends when Sezvil Rodrigues bulged the net in the
12th minute. Stung by that setback, Fr Agnel Youth Sports Club regrouped quickly and made some sorties in opposition half but it yielded no results. Macson D'Costa scored the insurance goal in the
24th minute.
The second session continued in same vein with their players harassing the rival defence with sporadic raids but Rising Club could not add to their tally due to some inept shooting by their forwards. Fr Agnel Youth Sports Club tried their best but could not penetrate the rival defence
for any goal.
