UK Ultra, Vicky 10, Tuff Security and Noble Car Dealers entered the semifinals of the Masters Table Tennis Champions League (MTTCL 6.0) after impressive knockout victories at Peddem.
UK Ultra defeated Diya Enterprises 2-0, Vicky 10 beat B N Thakur 2-0, Tuff Security overcame Kabir Knights 2-1, while Noble Car Dealers edged M & S Titans 2-1. Earlier, Diya Enterprises and Vicky 10 finished first and second in Group A, while M & S Titans and Kabir Knights topped Group B in that order. Each tie comprised three doubles matches.
The tournament was inaugurated by former Aldona MLA Glen Ticlo in the presence of Goa Table Tennis Association President Sudin Verenkar, C.C.P. Councillor Kabir Pinto Makhija and Organising President Mayur Sawkar, among others. Organised by Peddem Sports Club, MTTCL 6.0 has brought together Goa’s leading veteran paddlers in an exciting franchise format, with the four semifinalists now battling for a place in the championship final and championship prizes.
