United Club of Verna registered a convincing 4–0 victory over Wilfred Leisure Sports Club, Curtorim to storm into the quarter-finals of the 34th St Rock Super Soccer Football Tournament, organised by St Rock Youth Club, Majorda, at the Majorda ground on Thursday. The match began on a balanced note with both teams displaying good ball control and defensive play, but neither side could break the deadlock in the opening 15 minutes. Verna found their rhythm soon after, with Meldon Moniz opening the scoring in the 26th minute. Josley Moniz doubled the lead three minutes later to give Verna a 2–0 halftime advantage. After the break, Meldon Moniz struck again in the 15th minute of the second half, while Josley Moniz added another in the 24th minute to complete the 4–0 win. Josley Moniz was adjudged Man of the Match, with the award presented by Diego Gonsalves, Ex-President of St Rock Youth.

MARGAO: Calangute Association defeated Cuncolim Union 7–6 via tiebreaker to enter the quarter-finals of All Goa Football. Both teams remained level at full time. Viraj Velip and Daulat Dessai scored for Cuncolim Union, while Tanay Kerkar and Gabriel Fernandes equalised for Calangute Association. In the resultant tiebreaker, Pedro Gonsalves, Runal Shirodkar, Mouvin D’Souza, Tanay Kerkar and Jovito Fernandes scored for Calangute, while Frazer Fernandes, Shanker Gauncar, Clifton Fernandes and Sachin Velip scored for Cuncolim. Runal Shirodkar was awarded Player of the Match by Aluizio Fernandes.

MARGAO: Agassaim Youth Club Juniors defeated Perpetual Succour Convent High School, Navelim 6–1 in the 4th match of the TSH Goa Cup 2026. Agassaim dominated from the outset with sharp attacking play and teamwork. Vance Castanha led the charge with a hat-trick. After establishing control in the first half, Agassaim added three more goals in the second half to seal the win. Perpetual School scored a consolation through Asbel. Vance Castanha was adjudged Man of the Match, with the award presented by Sr Santana Goes, Manager of Perpetual Succour Convent High School, Navelim.

Murida beat Cortalim Gymkhana to enter quarters
MARGAO: St Sebastian Y.C. Murida defeated Cortalim Gymkhana 4–2 to enter the quarter-finals of the Cavelossim Panchayat Cup 2026, organised by Santa Cruz Club of Cavelossim at the Fr. Druston and Wellington ground, Cavelossim. Cortalim had a slight upper hand early on, with their forwards combining well with support from midfield. However, against the run of play, Veliston D’Souza put Murida ahead with a long-range strike. Cortalim equalised through Jaison Vaz following a cross from the left. After the break, Murida regained the lead through Richie Vaz, while Hanslum Furtado made it 3–1 and Jeoff Barreto extended it to 4–1. Jaison Vaz scored again to reduce the margin to 4–2. Veliston D’Souza was adjudged Man of the Match, with the award presented by Flavia Barreto, Sarpanch of V.P. Varca.

Vagator Parish SC beat Cuncolim Union 3–1
MARGAO: Vagator Parish Sports Club defeated Cuncolim Union 3–1 in the GFA First Division League at Rosary Ground, Navelim on Wednesday. Vagator dominated much of the first half, using windy conditions effectively. Rutik Bandodkar gave them the lead in the 21st minute, but Dadappeer Patil equalised four minutes later. The second half belonged to Vagator, who relied on pace on the counter. Visition Fernandes restored the lead in the 51st minute, while Vimal Kumar sealed the win at the stroke of full time.
