Viva North Veterans scored a 3-1 tie-breaker victory over Jose Cookies Camurlim to enter the finals of Vanxim Divar Cup football tournament on Friday. There was no score at full time.
In the first half, Jose Cookies Camurlim came close to scoring when Aldrin Lobo's scorching 20-yard shot kissed the crossbar.
Adrian Dias excelled in midfield for the Camurlim outfit as he sprayed accurate passes along with Anthony Tavares.
For Viva North Veterans, Domnic played well and constructed some good attacking moves combining with Santan and Anthony Pontes upfront. The match ended in a goaless draw. In the end, Viva North Veterans goalkeeper Trevor Antao saved thrice in the tie-breaker to guide his team into the finals.
