Cuncolim Union will organise an All India Invitational Volleyball tournament from May 2-6. ONGC- Dehradun, South Central Railways - Andhra Pradesh, Punjab Police- Punjab, Haryana Police- Haryana, Income Tax-Hyderabad and hosts Cuncolim Union-Goa will be participants.

“Going by the stupendous success last year wherein the local team Cuncolim Union with a mix of local and India Junior players caused major upsets, a new benchmark has got set. It is a greater organisational challenge this time as many teams were keen to participate but we had to keep it between the best six teams,” said Elvis Gomes, Chairman of the Organising Committee, who had started it all and has overseen the growth of the tournament in the last five years. The league fixtures will begin on May 2 and the finals are slated for 6th at Cuncolim.
