Futebol Club Youth Futsal Academy (YFA) and Sirvodem PSA SC recorded wins in their respective encounters in the Goa Football Association Vedanta Women's League on Monday.
While YFA defeated Compassion FC 1-0 at Dramapur ground, Sirvodem SC scored a 2-0 win over United Club of Telaulim, at Navelim ground.
Jolinda Ferrao scored the lone goal of the game in the 25th minute to seal full points for YFA against a struggling Compassion FC, who are yet to register a point in the campaign.
Meanwhile, Sirvodem SC continued their unbeaten run in the competition to end Telaulim's dream start to the competition with late goals. The first half was goalless and Telaulim were unlucky as Sirvodem scored both the goals in the dying minutes of the game.
Nevilla Colaco scored in the 86th minute and Vinoshka Fernandes ensured full points with a 90th-minute strike. Nevilla was named the Player of the match and the award was presented by Milagres Tereza, a former international referee.
