PANAJI: Chandan Caro and Rishan Shaikh have reached the Boys U17 and U19 finals at the YMCA All Goa Major Ranking Table Tennis Tournament, organised by YMCA Panjim in association with the Goa Table Tennis Association at Indoor Stadium, Campal.
In U17 semifinals, Chandan edged past Atharv Dhulapkar 3-2, while Rishan overcame Vedant Wagle 3-2. In U19 semifinals, Chandan defeated Ruhaan Shaikh 3-0, while Rishan beat Yuvaan Sanke 3-1. Earlier, in the U19 quarterfinals, Chandan defeated Atharv 3-0, Ruhaan beat Dhruva Kamat 3-1, Yuvaan overcame Vedant 3-2 and Rishan defeated Neel Sanke 3-2.
Meanwhile, in Men’s singles quarterfinals, Chandan Caro defeated Ruhaan Shaikh 4-1, while Rishan Shaikh overcame Dhruva Kamat 4-2. Diljeet Velingkar defeated Ashank Dalvi 4-2, while Atharv Dhulapkar beat Rammuanpuia 4-2 to complete the semifinal lineup.
