Instructor Roy Millar from the UK conducted a 5-day FIFA youth coaching course for Indian coaches that had Goan powerhouses -- Salgaocar, Sporting Clube de Goa among others participate at the AIFF Academy, Fatorda.
The course that concluded on Friday acted as a feeder of modern day coaching in club football. Among the top names that attended the course are India U-16
men’s national team head coach Bibiano Fernandes and his assistant Kannan Pirolkar, U-16 women’s national team head coach Firmin D’Souza, former India
international and ex-U-19 men’s national team assistant coach Aqueel Ansari, among many others.
