Zoriwaddo Veterans defeated Tolleband Veterans 4-2 to win the Rosary Parish Davorlim Veterans Cup in the final of the Rosary Veterans Cup organised by Rosary Parish Davorlim at Davorlim ground on Thursday. Regiono Vaz opened the scoring for Zoriwaddo in the 2nd minute but their joy was short-lived as Vincent Colaco equalised for Tolleband in the 6th minute. After that Milagres Figueredo netted a brace for Zoriwaddo in the 10th and 13th minute while Remedios Colaco of Zoriwaddo too added his name to the scoresheet in the 29th minute. With just a few minutes left for the final whistle, Vincent Colaco of Tolleband added his second. Edwin Cipru Cardozo ZP member Navelim was the chief guest and gave away the prizes to the winners and runner's up in the presence of Fr Domnic Noronha, Parish Priest of Our Lady of Rosary Church Davorlim. Pilomeno Costa PI, other dignitaries and club officials were also present.
Rosary College wins Inter-College Taekwondo Men's Championship
PANAJIRosary College of Commerce and Arts, Navelim won the Inter-Collegiate Taekwondo Men’s Championship 2022-23 held from October 11 to 12. The Championship was organised by Goa University at Jubilee hall, Taleigao Plateau.
