Altar Servers from Our Lady of Poor Church, Tilamola emerged champions of the Quepem Deanery Altar Servers Football Tournament, defeating Holy Cross Church Altar Servers Quepem 3-0. The girls of Our Lady of Poor Church, Tilamola emerged champions of tiebreaker, defeating Holy Cross Church Altar Servers Quepem 3-0.
Both the teams will represent Quepem Deanery Altar Servers for the All Goa Altar Servers tournament which will be held in Saligao Seminary on October 26. The tournament was organised by Quepem Deanery Altar Servers Animator Fr Peter Dsouza at Paroda Panchayat ground. Quepem Deanery Dean and Parish Priest of Paroda, Fr George Ratos was the chief guest. All the Animators of the Altar Servers of Quepem Deanery Parish were present to motivate their respective players.
