Baida underlined their title credentials with a comfortable 5-0 win over Durga 5-0 to storm into the quarterfinal of Jumbo Chik Chik memorial inter ward football tournament organized by Friends Circle at Church Ground, Chinchinim, on Wednesday. Baida led 2-0 at half time. The high light of the day was the brilliant hat trick by Plen Fernandes.
Baida dominated the game right from the word go and never allowed their opponents to get intothe rhythm. Baida opened the flood gates through Plen Fernandes in the 11th minute. Spurred by the early success Alliston doubled the lead.
