Bandora Judo Championship 2026 successfully held in Ponda


PANAJI

The Bandora Judo Championship 2026 was successfully organised by the Bandora Judo Club in association with the Madhavrao Dhavlikar Charitable Trust at Nageshi, Bandora, Ponda, recently.

The championship featured competitions across multiple categories including Sub-Junior, Cadets (Boys & Girls), and Seniors (Men & Women), attracting an impressive participation of over 250 players from across Goa.

Chief Guest Mithil Dhavlikar inaugurated the event and encouraged the athletes, highlighting the importance of discipline and dedication in sports like judo.

After a series of exciting bouts, Jaya Dojo Club emerged as the Champions, while Warriors Training Center finished as Runners-Up. The host team, Bandora Judo Club, secured the third place.

Addressing the media, President of Bandora Judo Club Reshma Kankonkar and Secretary Allaudin Sandi stated that their aim is to promote and develop judo across Goa and nurture talented athletes who can represent the state and the country at higher levels in the future.
