Goa cricketer selected for BCCI U-16 Elite Camp

The Goa Cricket Association (GCA) announced that promising young cricketer Mrunal Naik has been selected for the prestigious U-16 (Boys) Elite Camp “ 2026, conducted by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) at its Centre of Excellence.

The elite camp is scheduled to be held in Dehradun from May 11 to June 6, 2026, and will feature some of the most talented young cricketers from across the country.

Expressing his happiness over the achievement, GCA President Mahesh Dessai said, “Mrunal’s selection for the BCCI U-16 Elite Camp is a proud moment for Goa cricket. It reflects his hard work, dedication, and the steady progress of grassroots cricket in the state. We are confident he will make the most of this opportunity and continue to excel at higher levels.”

GCA Secretary Tulshidas Shetye and members of the Managing Committee also congratulated Mrunal Naik on his achievement and extended their best wishes for a successful and enriching camp.
