Calangute Veterans defended resolutely particularly towards the end as they edged past Ilhas Veterans 2-1 to enter the final of the All-Goa Veterans football tournament, organised by Mix Friends at the Santa Cruz ground on Friday. Robert and Augustin were the goal-scorers for Calangute while Nevil’s goal kept Ilhas in the hunt till the end.
