PANAJI: Celestial Minds in coordination with Centenary Chess Academy Baina and MTCA will hold Chess Tournaments on for Saturday and Sunday, March 29 & 30, at Centenary Chess Club, Vasco Baina. The prize money of this event is sponsored by Celestial Minds. This tournament is open to chess enthusiasts of all levels and will be conducted in two sections.
The Rated Section, taking place on March 29 & 30, is open to players who have held a FIDE rating in any format at any point in time. This section will follow a time control of 30 minutes + 30 seconds increment per move.
The Unrated Section, scheduled for March 30, is exclusively for players who have never had a FIDE rating. This section will be played with a time control of 15 minutes + 10 seconds increment per move.
