Chandor Sport Club beat Nerul Sport Club 3-2 and moved into the quater-final of the 23rd All Goa Our Lady of Merces 8-a-side Inter Village Tournament 2022 and played at Our Lady of Hope Church Ground, Chinchinim. Both the teams started on slow pace. In the 10th minute of the match, Vitorino Fernandes powerful right footer was well saved by Nerul keeper Dnyaneshwar. In the 15th minute, Brivon Dais put Chandor in the lead with a neat placement. The lead was short lived for Chandor as Anilcet of Nerul struck of a fine header. Later, Victorino made it 2-1 for Chandor. At half time the score was 2-1.
Victorino scored his brace to put Chandor in lead (3-1) while Akash of Nerul reduced the margin (2-3).
Yellow cards were shown to Moises Dais of Chandor SC and Anilcet and Dnyashwar of Nerul SC got red card.
