Davorlim Sporting Club emerged victorious with a 3-1 score against CAC Cansaulim to move into the quarterfinals of the inter-village football tournament organised by St Sabastian UC Benaulim and being played at Dando Ground, Benaulim on Tuesday.
The first half saw Davorlim taking the lead with a brilliant goal by Adarsh Rajmir in the 11th minute. The second half witnessed an outstanding performance from Milton Colaco, who scored two goals in the 38th and 40th minutes, extending Davorlim’s lead. CAC Cansaulim fought back with a goal from Selvin Soares in the 58th minute but couldn’t bridge the gap. Davorlim’s cohesive gameplay and clinical finishing secured them a well-deserved win in this thrilling encounter.
