Cumborda moved into the next round after defeating Batora United 8-3 in the 1st Vicente Memorial Inter-ward football tournament played at St Alex Church ground, Curtorim on Tuesday.
Cumborda scored the first goal through Myron Fernandes in the 10th minute. Soon after that Cumborda scored three more quick goals through Alviston Gomes, Mackson Fernandes and Marcus Fernandes respectively in the first half.
In second half, Batora scored two goals through Grandwill Barretto and Benzy Pereira to make it 2-4. After that Cumborda scored four more goals through Mackson Fernandes, Marcus Fernandes, Blason fernandes and Felito fernandes to make it 8-2. Batora scored the third goal through Leslie Mascarenhas to make it 3-8.
