Directorate of Sports & Youth Affairs and Sports Authority of Goa held a tree plantation drive at SAG Ground, Campal on Wednesday. The drive was in continuation of the World Environment Day and Tree Plantation Drive under MyBharat Program.
Speaking on the occasion, Director of Sports & Youth Affairs and Executive Director SAG, Dr. Ajay Gaude stressed that the true success of a tree plantation drive lies not merely in planting saplings but in ensuring their long-term survival and growth.
He highlighted the importance of sustained care and responsibility towards the environment. Gaude announced that every sapling planted during the drive would be entrusted to the respective office staff for regular maintenance and protection.
