Fit For Life Swim and Fitness Center held a graduation ceremony on Saturday celebrating the achievements of its swimmers.
The ceremony recognized students who completed the Beginner’s Program, with some progressing to Intermediate and Pre-Competitive levels. Graduates ranged from children to adults and seniors, highlighting swimming as a lifelong skill.
The event was attended by Digambar Kamat, MLA of Margao Constituency, former President of the Swimming Federation of India, and current member of the World Aquatics Bureau, and Yogiraj Kamat, President of the Goa Swimming Association.
Digambar Kamat emphasized the importance of children learning to swim, citing its life-saving and fitness benefits. He also praised Fit For Life for its quality training and facilities. Yogiraj Kamat discussed his commitment to growing swimming in Goa, noting the SAG’s efforts to improve facilities and organize competitions.
Fit For Life also recognized trainees who completed the Train the Trainer Program. This course trained individuals to become swimming trainers, contributing to the sport's development.
Fit For Life offers year-round classes and has opened enrollment for Summer Swim Classes across North and South Goa.
